CBF Member Serve Form

We rely on our church member volunteers to serve and meet the needs of our growing community. God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities and there are many different ways to serve. Choose which ministry you would like to serve in from the list below and we'll be in touch with you soon.
Welcome Ministry (Greeter & Usher). This ministry serves each Sunday morning by greeting our church family members and guests with a warm smile. They also help them to find comfortable seating upon arrival. With every handshake, smile, and hug an atmosphere of warm fellowship is created.

Praise Team Ministry. This ensemble encourages our church family each Sunday by leading the congregation in a time of corporate praise. Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 5:30pm and are by audition only.

Band Ministry. Instrumentalists consisting of keys, bass, drums, and guitar. Musicians are encouraged to become a part of this ministry.

Guardian Security Ministry. This ministry plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the congregation and the church premises. Persons serving are responsible for implementing security protocols, securing the church premises, maintaining surveillance, and ensuring the safety of worshipers during services. This ministry serves during all church events.

Bible Zone Children's Ministry. Bible Zone is our Sunday children's ministry and it takes place upstairs while the message is being taught in the sanctuary downstairs.  After a time of family worship together, children will leave the sanctuary for their classes. Teachers and Teaching Assistants serve each Sunday on a 10 week rotation.

First Steps Nursery Ministry. This ministry serves each Sunday at the start of our Sunday service on rotation. This is a vital ministry that allows parents the freedom and opportunity to be fully engaged in the church experience downstairs while knowing that their children are being lovingly cared for.

Audio Ministry. This ministry is a technical one that serves each Sunday on rotation. Persons serving are responsible for the overall delivery of sound quality. Training is given to everyone who joins this ministry.

Visual Ministry. This ministry is a technical one that serves each Sunday on rotation. Persons serving are responsible for managing the flow of events using ProPresenter software to project information and visual cues that enhance the church experience. Training is given to everyone who joins this ministry.

Mime Ministry. The purpose of the Mime Ministry is to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ in a unique and powerful way. Through visualization, song and movements, it is a way to express God's word.

GriefShare Ministry. GriefShare is a Bible based curriculum that provides a safe place for persons to navigate the heartache of losing a loved one. We currently offer the 13 week long curriculum twice per year and there are various roles that persons can play to support this ministry.

PrayerBand Ministry. The PrayerBand ministry meets every Tuesday at 6:30am via Zoom to pray for the needs of our church family and community.

Prison Ministry (Women). This ministry visits the women's prison facility on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays of the month from 6pm - 7pm to provide encouragement and guidance to those who are incarcerated.

Hospitality Ministry. This ministry organises and serves food at specific events that are held during the calendar year. These kind of events occur approximately once per quarter.

Vacation Bible School Ministry. Each summer we host a week long vacation bible experience for children. There are many different kinds of opportunities to serve in including craft coordinator, host and group leader. The dates for this year are August 26 - 30.
